<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The use of fluorescence imaging in surgery has significantly expanded in recent years. Fluorescence angiography is a method of assessing tissue perfusion, which used in various fields of medicine. Fluorescence angiography uses the fluorescence signal emitted by injected substances (fluorophores) after irradiation with special laser sources, providing the doctor with real-time tissue visualization. This review examines the most common aspects of the clinical application of fluorescence. The everincreasing use of fluorescence angiography, the high specificity and sensitivity of the method, will turn it into a standard of medical care in the near future.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>флуоресцентная ангиография</kwd><kwd>абдоминальная хирургия</kwd><kwd>заболевания периферических артерий</kwd><kwd>ишемия</kwd><kwd>жизнеспособность тканей</kwd><kwd>индоцианин зеленый</kwd><kwd>флуоресцентная визуализация в ближнем инфракрасном диапазоне</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>fluorescence angiography</kwd><kwd>abdominal surgery</kwd><kwd>peripheral artery diseases</kwd><kwd>ischemia</kwd><kwd>tissue viability</kwd><kwd>indocyanine green</kwd><kwd>fluorescence imaging in the near infrared range</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Разработка нового устройства для интраоперационной флуоресцентной визуализации перфузии полых органов желудочно-кишечного тракта, номер ЕГИСУ 125031904093-9</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="en">This review was supported by the State Program under the title «Development of a new device for intraoperative fluorescent visualization of the gastrointestinal tract hollow organs perfusion», number in the Unified State R&amp;D Record System: 125031904093-9.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><back><ref-list><title>References</title><ref id="cit1"><label>1</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="ru">Stewart HL, Birch DJS Fluorescence Guided Surgery.
