Проведен анализ литературных сведений о причинах возникновения вариантной стенокардии (стенокардии Принцметала). Разбирается возможность пережатия коронарной артерии участками мышечной ткани во время систолы; спазм коронарной артерии; увеличение сосудистого сопротивления в бассейне крупной коронарной артерии за счет агрегации форменных элементов крови. Приведены данные о морфологических изменениях в эпикардиальных артериях при атеросклерозе, обеспечивающих спазм коронарных сосудов при приступе вариантной стенокардии.

The analysis of literature data on variant angina (Prinzmetal angina) is given in this article. Pressing of coronary artery by part of muscle tissue during the systole; spasm of coronary artery; increase of vascular resistance in major coronary artery because of blood cells aggregation is discussed. Data about morphological change in structure of epicardial arteries upon atherosclerosis, resulting in spasm of coronary vessels in variant angina is described.
