Анализируется опыт клинического применения эндовазальной ангиопластики и стентирования сонных артерий у 50 больных с атеросклеротическими стенозами артерий головного мозга. Определены показания к использованию метода, его технические и технологические особенности. Показано, что ангиопластика и стентирование сонных артерий в большинстве случаев является эффективной и безопасной альтернативой традиционным хирургическим операциям.
