Развитие эндотелиальной дисфункции является одним из наиболее ранних событий в патогенезе сосудистых осложнений сахарного диабета. Асимметричный диметиларгинин (АДМА), являющийся хорошо известным маркером сердечно-сосудистого риска, может играть роль и при сахарном диабете. Результаты исследований, проведенных в последние годы, остаются противоречивыми. В данном кратком обзоре сделана попытка оценить взаимосвязь уровня АДМА с развитием эндотелиальной дисфункции и сосудистых осложнений при сахарном диабете.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>Diabetes mellitus is one of the most common chronic diseases worldwide and represents a challenge for the healthcare system, mainly because of the life-threatening complications. Endothelial dysfunction is an early marker of vascular complications in the patients with diabetes mellitus. Asymmetric dimethylarginine (ADMA) is generally known as a marker of cardiovascular risk which may be also involved in diabetes mellitus. The results of the studies on the role of ADMA in the patients with diabetes mellitus remain controversial.
